Tall Ships Landing
Even though Tall Ships Landing puts you in the heart of one of the most stunning environments on the planet, with your boat moored at your doorstep and even though your suite will take your breath away with its views and features, it is so much more than this.
We know there will be times when the weather outside is frightful. To make every day on the Thousand Islands a joy to behold regardless of the weather or your mood, Tall Ships has built in world class amenities that will turn your home into a resort all year round.
The Aquatic Center
In the Tall Ships sunny pool facilities, floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy the Thousand Islands scenery, your children and grandchildren playing outside in the sand of the adjacent beach pool or see your boat moored at the private full-service marina. Experience the falling snow in winter or the lights of passing ships at night – all while you work off the stress of the day in our salt water pool or soothing hot tub. Work up an appetite and then dine at the five-star onsite restaurant. The interior appointments utilize red granite from the very Canadian Shield that formed the geology of the region. Inside, you will be lulled by the gentle sounds of a curtain waterfall, or awakened by a brisk workout in our aquatic treadmill.
Nearly surrounded on all sides by windows, sunlight will pour into the aquatic center, with shimmering light reflecting from the water surface to the ceiling to create a beautiful, lively atmosphere.
The Club-style Lobby and Quarter Deck Lounge
Your home at Tall Ships should have a grand entrance. That’s why Tall Ships Landing has designed the third floor Lobby and Lounge area above the Boutique Hotel with such attention to detail and a sense of pride and warmth. The details are rich in quality and in spirit: granite river stone fireplace, history-soaked hardwood floors saved from Canada’s Library of Parliament designed by Thomas Fuller, stained glass“compass rose” motif in the octagonal ceiling, and sail cloth awnings shading the terrace. In the lobby you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine from the honour bar after a day of boating with family and friends.
The Quarter Deck lounge, overlooking the beautifully landscaped riverview terrace, offers a welcoming spot to relax after boating, or to conduct a casual meeting prior to dining out in the onsite, harbour front restaurant.
